How it’s different

What is Debt-2-Capital?

Debt-2-Capital is Longtable’s structured debt payoff plan: a specialist models every balance, minimum and rate a household carries and sets the order to pay them off, each freed payment rolling to the next debt. There is no refinance, no consolidation and no change to your mortgage rate, and a tax-free cash reserve builds alongside through a properly designed whole life policy.

Why this is different

Not a refinance. Not a consolidation. A different order.

Every debt in the right order from your own numbers. When one is gone, its payment moves to the next. Often without changing your budget.

How it works

From the number above to the last payment.

  1. Run the loan math.

Done, above. Bring every debt to a 30-minute call: creditor, balance, minimum, rate. Both spouses; your advisor welcome.

  2. Your specialist models the plan.

Your real debts on screen, in the order they would be paid, beside the path you are on today. The reserve, and every cost, shown before anything is offered.

  3. Pay in order. Build the reserve.

Each payment you free moves to the next debt. The reserve builds alongside. Your mortgage rate never changes.

More information

Why the order matters. On a young mortgage and on most revolving debt, a large share of every payment is interest, not principal. Clearing the costliest balances first and rolling each freed payment forward is what shortens the clock. Your specialist models it on your numbers, never on averages.

The tax-free cash reserve. As the debts clear, a reserve builds alongside them, so when the roof or the transmission goes you draw on your own money instead of a lender. It is the cash value of a properly designed whole life insurance policy, accessed through policy loans and untaxed while the policy stays in force; interest is owed on the loans either way, and the cash value keeps earning while borrowed against. Life insurance, not an investment. Underwriting applies.

Your advisor and CPA see it first. Nothing about your accounts or your advisor has to change. We bring the modeling; they keep their seats. If a policy is written, the insurer pays us; what any partner is paid is disclosed in writing before anything starts. One point of contact from the first call through monthly tracking.

The risks, plainly. A whole life policy carries costs, heaviest in its early years, and must be kept in force for loans to stay untaxed; borrow too much against it and it can lapse, with tax due. Underwriting can decline or rate a policy. If income drops, the plan slows. Every term is in writing before you commit, and your advisor sees it first.

Is it a fit?

Built for.

  • A home loan, or several debts.
  • You want a clear payoff order, not minimum payments forever.
  • You would rather not replace your loans.
  • You cannot cover basic monthly bills.
  • You want a stock-market investment.

Straight answers

Questions, answered.

Is this a refinance or a consolidation?
No. You keep every account and your home loan rate. The plan changes the order you pay things off, and how.
Is life insurance involved?
Yes. A properly designed whole life policy: insurance that lasts your whole life and builds cash you can borrow against. Life insurance, not an investment. The insurer has to approve you first, and your specialist shows how it works and what it costs before you decide.
What does it cost?
The call and the model cost nothing. If a policy is written, the insurer pays us, and what any partner is paid is disclosed in writing before anything starts.
What if I only have a mortgage?
Yes. Bring your mortgage details; your specialist shows the math on your numbers.
